Sally Else General Manager,
First Data Innovative Payments Group
Sally Else leads the Recurring Payments Segment within First Data’s Innovative Payments Group. Innovative Payments delivers outsourcing solutions across the statement-to-cash continuum enabling companies to reduce costs and drive customer satisfaction with flexible billing, payment and customer care solutions. First Data Voice Services is a critical component of the customer care portfolio.
Prior to her return to First Data in April 2006, Else served as senior vice president of CSG Systems’ Strategic Initiatives Group, where she directed CSG’s strategic planning process and oversaw business development activities, as well as the company’s global marketing and partner organization.
Else joined CSG in January 1999 and held various roles in product management, where she was responsible for setting the strategic direction of CSG’s products and services, overseeing the development of market analysis, product investment and marketing plans and overall business objectives.
Before joining CSG, Else spent nine years with First Data Corporation. At the time of her departure, she held the position of vice president, international business development, within First Data Resources. During her FDR tenure, she held various roles in the international division, including a four-year assignment at FDRL in the United Kingdom. Prior to that, she was a sales consultant for Applied Learning.
Else is a graduate of the University of Nebraska.
Margaret Haynes Senior Vice President, Client Engagement and Delivery
First Data Payment Services
In her role as senior vice president, Client Engagement and Delivery, Margaret Haynes supports First Data Payment Services’ goal of increasing client engagement while increasing responsiveness in implementations and service delivery. She and her team assist in tightening the handoff between the selling process and the delivery of new services into the operational environment, thus increasing client satisfaction and improving revenue on boarding timelines.
Haynes is responsible for critical functions across Payment Services including account management/ client services, and the service delivery function.
Prior to her current role, Haynes served as a client business executive for First Data, responsible for managing and overseeing all business aspects for the services that First Data provides to financial institutions. She managed a team of individuals who were focused on continual improvement of service delivery and expanding the overall business relationship with the client.
During her sixteen-year tenure with First Data, Haynes has served in a variety of roles, including several in Client Development, as well as Contracts and Strategic Sourcing.
A graduate from Northwest Missouri State University with a bachelors degree in Accounting and Business Management, Haynes also earned a MBA in Personnel/Human Resource Management from the University of Colorado.
James Harvey Vice President, Technology
First Data Voice Services
As vice president of Technology, James Harvey provides strategic technical vision for First Data’s Voice Services architecture and technology implementations. He has guided the design and deployment of an application architecture that supports application interfaces ranging from traditional touch-tone and speech-enabled to Web and multi-modal. Under his leadership, a powerful notification services capability has been integrated into First Data’s platform to serve increasing client interest in event-driven applications.
Harvey joined First Data in 1998 and has held a number of technical management roles at the company. Harvey has extensive industry experience, having served as CTO at Prairie Systems and in various management and technical roles at Northrop Grumman, Data Transmission Network and Transaction Systems Architects.
Harvey holds a bachelor of science degree in computer science from the University of Nebraska.
Robert Van Stry Vice President, Sales
First Data Voice Services
As vice president of Sales, Bob Van Stry leads the business development effort for new accounts, managing a team of sales professionals to match the needs of our clients with First Data Voice Services products and services.
Van Stry joined First Data in 2006 and has extensive experience in automated voice services and sales management. He has held senior positions with several major firms, including Convergys Corporation and Marsh McClennan.
Van Stry majored in business administration at State University of New York.
